Tonight we went to a going-away party for our good friends Tyler and Jennifer. They are moving next week to Austin, so we wanted to have one last get-together before they made the big move. It was an amazing night filled with food, laughter, catch phrase, and a tiny bit of competitiveness. It's been amazing to get to know Tyler and Jennifer better over the last few months and we will all miss them so much. The Lord is going to use them in amazing ways wherever He leads them, and we are confident that we will always be friends!

It's been a week since I've blogged BUT I've been really good at remembering to take pictures, so that's better than nothing! It's been a wonderful week, so I'll share the high points (or maybe just the things I remembered to take pictures of!)

First, a little background to these pictures. In college, my roommate Sarah and I would to go Double Daves pizza EVERY SINGLE  TUESDAY NIGHT because it was 2 for 1 pizza roll night. This meant that our entire meal, including a drink, was only $3. I decided that I should try a homemade version, and it was so easy! I'll definitely be making this again!

On Saturdays, I get the privilege of helping to lead a kid's bible study in Bonton and I just love these sweet kids. It's such a joy getting to watch them grow and getting to love on them! Today I took my camera and they loved getting to take pictures of each other and me.

We tried to go bowling but apparently that's a popular Plano activity on a Saturday night.

Sore legs. Sore feet. Sweaty clothes.

All worth it!

Tonight our Bible Fellowship class went to Jumpstreet and had a blast! You might be thinking that Jumpstreet is intended for children and teenagers, but that is where you are mistaken. We blended right in with the youngsters, giving them a run for their money in dodgeball.

new years resolutions

This year, I decided that my New Years resolution would be to take more pictures and also to start a blog! I've tried to start blogs in the past, but I've never gone through with them. Looks like I'm making progress! 2011 was an amazing year for M and I, and I know God has some great things in store for 2012!

Today I took a little adventure. My sister-in-love got her permit yesterday and today was day 1 of driving practice!

She did amazingly well for her first day! I'm such a proud sister!

We drove for about 3 hours total and only hit one curb! She learned to park and reverse and we drove some pretty big roads! The tollway is another lesson for another day :)
